USA: Trump inspired pinata wall will 'reject evil' with hot sauce

Californian artist Sita Kuratomi Bhaumik finished the construction of a pinata wall in San Francisco, Thursday, which represents her idea of the wall that presidential candidate Donald Trump intends to build on the Mexican-US border, if he wins the elections.
The bricks, made out of paper, have been stuffed in the traditional pinata way, with Mexican hot sauce among other things. Bhaumik explained that the wall was constructed in this way as "pinatas are meant to be destroyed" and "to break a pinata means to reject evil."
The Los Angeles-born artist said that the wall will be exhibited from September 9 to October 15 at the Southern Exposure gallery, where attendees will be invited to "smash the border" on the last day of the exhibition.
The artist, who has worked with seven other artists and collectives on the project, said that Trump's wall was, like hers, "very imaginary" as "there is no way that you can build something that long and high." Bhaumik added that the "scariest part" of Trump's candidacy is that he is not alone in his beliefs and that his wall "represents the extension of colonialism."
