A group of protesters from the far-right Die Rechte (The Right) had their path blocked by activists from Antifa just moments after they began their anti-refugee rally in the Neustadt district of Halle, Saturday. The group of about 40 right-wing protesters had their march cut short after they found the road blocked by a large group of anti-fascist counter-protesters who were sitting in the road and on bicycles. The Die Rechte supporters were forced to abandon their march and leave the area only minutes after their rally began. The Die Rechte supporters left escorted by police as Antifa activists followed, mocking them and chanting "Nazis out." Police managed to keep the rival protesters separated and no major incidents were recorded.
