Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau arrived in Biarritz on Friday ahead of the Global Seven (G7) meeting in the French coastal city.
Footage shows Trudeau's official plane arriving at the Biarritz airport and Trudeau greeted by a French guard of honour before entering an official car.
Trudeau is scheduled to have a meeting with US President Donald Trump during the G7 summit where the two leaders are expected to discuss trade, according to Canadian media reports.
The G7 summit will start in Biarritz on Saturday and run from August 24 to August 26. The summit’s agenda is reported to include; tackling global inequality, the US-China trade dispute, the Hong Kong protests and the climate crisis.
