Hundreds of refugees waited in the rain at the border crossing point between Trnovec and Sredisce ob Dravi to cross into Slovenia, where five buses were parked, Monday. The buses will reportedly to take them on and into Austria. Refugees rushed to the metal barriers and shoved each other while trying to cross into Slovenia. Due to the weather conditions, most of them remained wet and cold at the border checkpoint. They chanted and shouted "help us!" to the police in order to force them to open the gates, but without any result so far. Croatia is now directing refugees into neighbouring Slovenia after Hungary closed its border with Croatia to prevent refugees and migrants from traveling northwards though the central European country. After the change of the refugees’ route across Europe, some 5,000 migrants reached Slovenia on Monday from Croatia. The Slovenian Interior Ministry is now accusing Croatia of ignoring efforts to contain the flow.
