Footage filmed on Wednesday, shows a massive mural allegedly of a refugee girl covered in blood, which has been commissioned by the Gewobag housing association in Berlin, Wednesday, in reference to the ongoing refugee crisis.
The 42-meter (137-foot) mural painted by Spanish artist Borondo on one of the apartment buildings in the German capital's Tegel district, has caused indignation among local residents who have launched a petition to have it removed.
A girl in a nightgown, bloodied from the head down and standing on a floor covered in blood as well as a naked body handcuffed against a tree are part of an art series called Artpark Tegel.
Some people believe that the painting can allegedly evoke painful memories for those fleeing war and persecution.
