Members of the FIFA Executive Committee arrived at the Swissotel in Zurich, Thursday, ahead of the sports body's presidential elections at the Extraordinary FIFA Congress on Friday.
The top FIFA presidential candidates, including Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, FIFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino, former FIFA Deputy General Secretary Jerome Champagne, Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, and former South African Minister of Human Settlements Tokyo Sexwale, arrived at the Swissotel, where the 54-member UEFA will hold an extraordinary congress a day before the upcoming presidential election.
The candidates have to win over two-thirds of the votes to take the presidency, with early estimates placing Infantino as the most likely to take the position.
Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter was banned from all football-related activity by FIFA's Ethics Committee in December 2015 after the emergence of corruption scandals.
The vote for the FIFA presidency will take place on Friday at the Hallenstadion arena in Zurich.
