Jeb Bush's 'Breast Cancer' Gaffe

15.05.2015
Democratic House Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Friday hit back at Jeb Bush over his remarks that the Apple watch could be part of an alternative to Obamacare.
Wasserman Schultz, chair of the Democratic National Committee, wrote in a Tweet “I had cancer. There’s no app for that,”
The blunt retort comes after the former Florida governor and presidential contender on Thursday pointed to his Apple watch as a potential tool in a “consumer-directed model” of health care that he would like to see replace Obamacare.
Wasserman Schultz, a breast cancer survivor, is a vocal supporter of the president’s signature health care law.
The Florida Democrat also introduced a law that promoted breast cancer education for women under 40, called the EARLY Act, that was signed along with Obamacare in 2010.
