British Prime Minister Theresa May updated the House of Commons on the status of Sergei and Yulia Skripal and the investigation into their poisoning in London on Monday.
May stated that Sergei and Yulia Skripal "remain critically ill" in hospital, and that they may never fully recover. May explained that the investigation is continuing into all areas where the Skripals were on March 4, the date of their poisoning, and while "Public Health England have made clear that the risk to public health is low, and this remains the case, we assess that more than 130 people in Salisbury could have been potentially exposed to this nerve agent."
One detective, Nick Bailey, fell seriously ill but has since been discharged from hospital.
The Russian government has denied allegations of its involvement in the case.
