A Massive Typhoon is Developing in the Pacific, Taking Aim at Guam

Typhoon Dolphin is strengthening and expanding over the Western North Pacific Ocean on Tuesday and threatens to deliver a punishing blow to the island of Guam on Friday. After that, the storm is projected to continue to intensify, possibly becoming the third super typhoon of the year so far in that ocean basin, before it recurves out to see before hitting another landmass. That doesn't mean that it won't affect land after lashing Guam with conditions equivalent to a Category 2 or 3 hurricane (or possibly greater).
