Flash Flooding Ravages Rural Kentucky

As a flash flood wreaked havoc on rural eastern Kentucky, State Police confirmed two people are dead and at least two others last seen in the floodwaters are missing, The fate of four others remains uncertain. Families reported them missing, but they might have safely evacuated or be stranded in their homes, without power or phone service.
Rescue teams are slogging through knee-deep mud and wooded, mountainous terrain, slowly trudging door-to-door as desperate families wait for word.
