Bieber Pleads Guilty to Assault, Careless Driving in Canada

Justin Bieber has pleaded guilty to assault and careless driving charges in connection with a collision near his Ontario hometown, Canadian media reported on Thursday. The reports said the singer received an absolute discharge on the assault charge and a $600.00 fine for the careless driving charge. The pop star was charged in September with assault and dangerous driving. A lawyer for Bieber said at the time that the singer was visiting the area with pop star Selena Gomez when they were "disrupted by the unwelcome presence of paparazzi."
