The Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft carrying the International Space Station (ISS) Expedition 60-61 was launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Saturday. Footage shows crew members Andrew Morgan, Luca Parmitano and Alexander Skvortsov departing for the flight.
Morgan is going to space for the first time. He will meet his fellow Class of 2013 NASA astronauts Christina Koch and Nick Hague who have been at the station since March. Parmitano is on his second mission while Skvortsov who is leading the mission is making his third visit to the space station.
The spacecraft is set to dock to the International Space Station at 22.51 GMT on Saturday.
The expedition is scheduled to last until October 3, when the Soyuz leaves the station. Koch, Skvortsov, Parmitano and Morgan will then transfer over to Expedition 61.
