New York Stock Exchange Reopens After Tech Glitch

Trading on the New York Stock Exchange resumed at mid-afternoon Wednesday after being halted for more than three-and-a-half hours by an unexplained technical issue.
Officials provided no details on the cause of the outage which suspended trading from 11:32 am.m until 3:10 p.m. Eastern Standard time.
The NYSE used Twitter for assuring the public the shutdown is the result of a glitch, not a cyber attack of any sort.
A message from presidency echoes the assurance from the stock exchange.
Investors continued to work despite the shutdown by routing listed stocks to other exchanges.
The exchanged added that the shutdown was limited to the NYSE floor and did not extend to their Arca or AMEX options
