Journalist (in German): "Doesn't this affect the European credibility?" Juncker: "No, this is not about the question of Europe remaining credible. We will keep on being credible and Greece will too. We have to come together and we are on the way but there is still a long way to go." President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said he expects an agreement with Greece to be reached despite there being a "long way to go" as he spoke at the headquarters of the Council of the European Union in Brussels, Monday. When asked if the prolonged talks are affecting Europe's credibility, Juncker denied the claims and emphasised the need for unity and cooperation in reaching a conclusive agreement. The Eurozone is holding talks in Brussels in crunch talks over Greece's debt crisis. The deadline for Greece to pay back a slice of its loan to the European Commission, the IMF and the European Central Bank (ECB) is June 30.
