More than 2,000 protesters marched through northern Paris on Tuesday, denouncing the EU's stance on migration. The march symbolically began at metro La Chapelle, where a makeshift migrant camp recently stood, before police evicted the 360 people dwelling there on June 2. People carried banners brandishing messages such as 'In solidarity we trust' and 'Refugees need help and love'. The Communist Party, the Left Party, Federation Syndicale Unitaire and Movement against Racism were among the associations who helped organize the rally.
