Бунт на 200 осъдени избухна в английски затвор

Two wings of Bedford prison in central England were overrun by up to 200 inmates during a prison riot in the Harpur region of Bedford, Sunday.
Fire engines, ambulances and police were on hand outside the Category B prison and some roads were closed off though no casualties were reported. The Prison Officers Union said officers from around the country were being drafted in to bring the situation back under control.
A report on Bedford prison, which holds up to 500 prisoners, conducted by the Chief Inspector of Prisons in September revealed serious shortcomings at the institution including inmates access to drugs and "poor" and "crowded" conditions.
