FBI Investigating St. Louis Cardinals for Hacking Houston Astros

The New York Times reported Tuesday that The FBI and federal prosecutors are investigating the St. Louis Cardinals for hacking the database of the Houston Astros. The Cardinals tried to steal closely guarded information about player personnel.
Law enforcement officials told The Times that the hacking focused on information about trades, proprietary statistics and scouting reports. The Times said, there is evidence that Cardinals officials broke into a network of special databases.
Major League Baseball officials had no immediate comment.
