At least two people were killed when a car bomb exploded in front of the Quabat al-Mahdi mosque in Sanaa, Saturday. Houthi militants who often attend the mosque were believed to be the targets of the attack. Saturday's incident comes after four car bombs exploded on the Yemeni capital on Wednesday, killing at least four people and wounding 60 others. The Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) has claimed responsibility for both of attacks on Twitter. The UN attempted to secure a truce in Yemen with a meeting in Geneva on Friday. However, both the airstrikes and conflict within the country continue to rage, despite the holy month of Ramadan.
