DeAndre Jordan Turns His Back on the Dallas Mavericks

It's safe to say DeAndre Jordan isn't a popular man in Dallas right now.
Last week, Jordan made a verbal commitment to join the Mavericks, to the tune of a four-year max contract – a humongous loss for the Clippers, who would've been left high and dry without many options to replace their defensive anchor. But Jordan reportedly felt pressured into making the decision, and thus made an impromptu phone call to Doc Rivers a few days later to let him know he was having cold feet. On Wednesday, less than 24 hours before the NBA's moratorium period was over, madness ensued, as members of the Clippers and Mavericks flocked to Houston to try and woo Jordan all over again. After all that, Jordan is a Clipper once again and has a new, $88 million contract to show for it.
