BTR-82 military vehicles rolled onto the main streets of Donetsk, as militia members from the self- proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic rehearsed for the Victory Day parade on Tuesday. Earlier the leader of proclaimed Donetsk Republic Alexander Zakharchenko said that the Victory Parade in the city will go ahead on May 9 even if Kiev objects it. Local authorities are planning to invite OSCE representatives to special monitoring mission, which will take place during the Parade as a sign of assurance that the Minsk peace accords weren't broken by them. Both the proclaimed breakaway Donetsk and Lugansk Peoples' Republics will hold Victory Day parades. Beside the proclaimed themselves independent part of Donbass the rest part of Ukraine isn't going to mark the Victory Day on May 9, however instead there will be a commemoration marked on the Day of Memory on May 8, which should be celebrated after a law in Rada passed to honor the Nazi defeat.
