SOT, Nabil Azizi, ISIE member (Arabic): "Regarding the result of the second round of the presidential elections, Mr. Kais Saied get 72.71 per cent and Mr. Nabil Karoui [got] 27.29 per cent. We are now in the objection period, we have 48 hours. If we don't receive any objections we will announce the final result in 48 hours."

Independent presidential candidate Kais Saied won Tunisia's presidential election with 72.71 percent of votes, the electoral commission announced in Tunis on Monday.
Saied, who was backed by the conservative Ennahdha party, won against media tycoon Nabil Karoui, who secured 27.29 of the votes.
"If we don't receive any objections we will announce the final result in 48 hours from," said member of Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE), Nabil Azizi.
According to Tunisia's electoral commission, 55 per cent of those eligible to vote cast their ballots on Sunday.
