Greek Finance Minister to IMF Head and US Treasury Next Week

The Greek government has announced that Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis will travel to Washington to meet with International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde on Sunday Evening, as well as unspecified US Treasury officials regarding their ongoing economic crisis.
The country has been locked into difficult negotiations with its creditors over its bailout program, which has delayed the disbursement of 7.2 billion euros; forcing the government to tap into it's reserves to meet its obligations.
Earlier Saturday, deputy finance minister Dimitris Mardas told TV station Mega that Greece has the funds to repay a 450 million euro installment of their loan to the IMF on April 9, but it is up to the tenuous Greek government to decide whether to make the payment for the country to get out of it's debt crisis.
