The D.C. Fire and EMS Department is responding to a “pancake collapse” at the parking garage of the famous Watergate complex, which has left one person trapped in the wreckage. The Fire Department was dispatched for a structural collapse at 10:09 a.m., according to Oscar Mendez, a spokesman for the DC Fire and EMS Department. Initial reports say that one person is trapped in the three-story collapse.
