Germany: Rival groups of refugees clash at Hamburg camp A mass brawl broke out between Syrian and Afghan refugees at an accommodation centre in Hamburg, Wednesday, prompting the deployment of police to the site. Security workers were seen controlling access in and out of the premises, located in Hamburg's Bergedorf district, on Thursday. Two large groups comprising a combined 200 people clashed with one another on several occasions throughout Wednesday afternoon. Several people were injured during the brawl while beds and other pieces of furniture were damaged.
