Think about the worst piece of advice you’ve ever received. This advice from Science magazine about how to deal with sexual harassment at work was probably worse.
A reader with the pseudonym “Bothered” wrote into the magazine’s “Ask Alice” career advice column with the following question: “My adviser is a good scientist, and he seems like a nice guy. Here’s the problem: Whenever we meet in his office, I catch him trying to look down my shirt.
