Germany: ‘Mad and disabled’ pride parade hits Berlin streets

Thousands hit the streets of Berlin in a massive pride parade for people with physical and mental disabilities, Saturday. The parade attendees are calling for social equality. On their official website the organiser’s are demanding an end to the stigma directed at disabled people as well as those with mental issues. Dressed in colourful outfits and carrying banners and placards, the group argue that everybody should be proud of who and what they are.
