SOT, Faruk Hadzibegic, Head coach of Montenegro national football team (Bosnian): "It is hard to talk about a game like this, the end result that we had. We must congratulate the English team for their victory, we did make it easier for them than we should have and that's unfortunate for us."

SOT, Faruk Hadzibegic, Head coach of Montenegro national football team (Bosnian): "The goals that we handed over to the English team, they shouldn't happen at this level of performance of the game; we shouldn't do this in the future."

SOT, Gareth Southgate, England men's national football team manager: "Yeah, I think the quality of our attacking play first half was excellent - it's been a group that we expected to win but we've totally taken teams apart and matches in the past have been problematic for England teams where teams have defended deep in numbers and been stubborn because of our speed, movement, speed of ball circulation, we've calved those teams apart and added of course to the quality of individual players that we've got both on the pitch tonight and those who have played earlier in the campaign so we knew we had a team tonight right the way through who would be really comfortable with the ball. Speed, athletism, too high midfield players who can score goals as well and they did that in the first half and they killed the game within 25 minutes, really."

SOT, Gareth Southgate, England men's national football team manager: "I think, I don't know what more I could have said. Again, first and foremost the whole dressing room are disappointed with it because the dressing room is tight, every one of them. There's no, contrary to what I'm told has been said in various quarters, all of the players are united. The whole thing has been put to be the other day, Joe had done absolutely nothing wrong. No England player should ever be booed when they are wearing the shirt, ever. I don't get it. So all of the players are particularly disappointed with that and the reason I wanted to get Joe on the pitch tonight was that he's been with us September, October and not got any games. Also I know I'm going to start Raheem on Sunday and get him back onto the pitch as well as it's important for both to get back on the field with England and show everybody that we're all in this now so yeah, I'm hugely disappointed for him but he's got the support of all of us, the whole dressing room. Totally united and we'll make sure we're there for him."

While praising his side for putting seven past Montenegro in Euro 2020 qualifier, England men's national football team manager Gareth Southgate expressed his disappointment with the English fans' booing of Joe Gomez during the win in London on Thursday.
"Joe had done absolutely nothing wrong. No England player should ever be booed when they are wearing the shirt, ever," said Southgate after fans booed Gomez seemingly because star player Raheem Sterling was dropped from the team following an altercation with him.
