A Palestinian was killed and an IDF soldier was injured after being stabbed at an intersection between the Palestinian village Tarqumiyah and the Adora Israeli settlement just outside of Hebron, during a demonstration on Friday. The supposed assailant was then shot at the scene by other IDF soldiers on site. According to the soldiers, the man was disguised as a photographer, wearing a press vest and carrying a camera. The footage shows the man lifelessly lying on the ground wearing a yellow vest. The producer who had filmed the scene, along with other journalists, was chased away from the site. The victim then was reportedly transferred to a Jerusalem hospital. Meanwhile Palestinians clashed with IDF forces inside Hebron with Palestinians throwing stones and IDF responding with tear gas, as Palestinian factions called for a new wave of anti-Israeli protests under the slogan 'Friday of revolution.' Violence has escalated in recent weeks in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories as long-simmering tensions over the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East Jerusalem, and the continued construction of illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank, have come to a head. At least 30 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli soldiers since 1 October, and more than 1,700 injured, according to the latest figures from Palestinian medical sources. At least seven Israelis have been killed during the same period.
