Russia: Peace Ride rally organisers speak to press upon crossing Moscow finishing line

Organisers of the 'Peace Ride' between Berlin and Moscow gave a press conference after crossing the finishing line in the Russian capital, Tuesday.
In the press conference, representative of the German-Russian Friendship Centre Rainer Rothfuss called the two countries to work together towards peace.
Another rally organiser Owe Schattauer noted, "We Germans can learn a lot from the Russians. We can learn from them how to remember the values, which we once had, because they still have them today."
The initiative involved a convoy of 70 vehicles and nine motorcycles driving from Berlin to Moscow and back, thus covering the distance of 4,200 kilometres (2,609 miles). 250 participants were involved, travelling in cars, motorcycles, RVs and one bus.
The youngest participant was 6 years old and the oldest was 80 years old. The rally aimed to promote an international friendship between Germany and Russia.
