Не така, брат!

Two macaque monkeys went on display at the Leningrad Zoo in St Petersburg, Tuesday. The monkeys were presented as a gift from the mayor of the Japanese city Shizuoka, Tanabe Nobuhiro, as part of the celebrations for the zoo's birthday. The macaque is instantly recognisable by its red face and is referred to as the snow monkey because it is the only monkey found so far north, meaning they will be able to tolerate St. Petersburg's fierce winter and can even live in an outdoor enclosure all year round. The Leningrad Zoo and Shizuoka city zoo have been collaborating and cooperating since 2008.
