Relatives of several North Texan men recently killed by police along with Black Lives Matter activists marched through the streets of Fort Worth on Monday to demand justice for the victims. About 300 hundred protesters paraded across the city under the surveillance of police. The activists eventually entered the Tarrant County courthouse, holding banners and chanting slogans demanding justice in memory of those killed. Organised in part by "Next Generation Action," the protest was organised after the shooting of Christian Taylor, a black teenager killed by a white police officer in Arlington on August 7. CCTV footage released of the killing shows the unarmed Taylor being gun downed by the officer after driving his vehicle into a car showroom.
