Durst Is 'in a Good Place' Ahead of Extradition: Lawyer

Millionaire murder suspect Robert Durst is "doing as well as can be expected" as he awaits extradition to California, his attorney told NBC News Saturday. "He's in a good place," defense attorney Dick DeGuerin said of the jail where Durst is being held. I don't think it's unusual for a 71-year-old or a 72-year-old man to have medical conditions. Durst, 71, is under suicide watch at a Louisiana prison after being arrested in New Orleans on March 14 on a warrant out of Los Angeles, where he was charged in the 2000 murder of his confidant, Susan Berman.
