Germany: Dresden refugee camp on lockdown after hooligans target inhabitants

6 11.10.2015 Инфо

A mob of 20 hooligans reportedly attacked a camp for refugees in a suburb south of Dresden, Saturday. The culprits reportedly threw firecrackers and flares at the tents after returning from a football game. Police intervened and managed to prevent an escalation. The football enthusiasts then attacked two officers in a police car. No one was injured during the incident. As of October 2015, 490 offences against inhabited and uninhabited refugee shelters have been recorded, according to the German Interior Ministry. The German government officially expects 800,000 migrants and refugees to enter Germany in 2015. However, new reports suggest significantly higher figures of up to 1.5 million arrivals.
