SOT, Donald Trump, Republican presidential nominee (English): "So was it President Obama's fault? Is it President Obama's fault. Secretary, is it President Obama's fault. Because he is pushing it."
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump started their first presidential debate at Hofstra University on Long Island in New York, Monday, by discussing trade, taxes and how to bring jobs and growth back to America.
Trump said that “Our jobs are fleeing the country. They are going to Mexico, they are going to many other countries,” and blamed US President Barack Obama’s administration for not fighting against countries such as China, who are using USA as “a piggy bank”.
Clinton replied by calling Trump’s plan “trickle-down economics” which would permit \x9Cthe biggest tax cuts for top percent of the people in this country that we've ever had. I call it 'trumped-up trickle down', because that's exactly what it would be.”
The first presidential debate is moderated by NBC’s ‘Nightly News’ host Lester Holt. The second debate will take place on October 9 at Washington University in St. Luis and the third on October 19 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
