Russia: Olympic team receives warm welcome in Moscow

The Russian Olympic team arrived in Moscow from Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday, after winning 56 medals in total, consisting of 19 times gold, 18 silver and 13 bronze.
Hundreds of fans stood in line to congratulate the athletes at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport. The President of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov was also present at the ceremony.
The Rio Olympics concluded on Sunday with the United States at the top of the medal table with 120 medals in total, followed by the UK and China with 67 and 70 medals respectively. Russia came in fourth despite a ban of its track and field team, while host nation Brazil ranked 13th.
