Panama: Hillary Clinton would make an "excellent president" - Obama

Hillary Clinton would be an "excellent president" if she decides to announce that she is running, US President Barack Obama said in Panama City on Saturday. Speaking at a press conference at the seventh Summit of the Americas, Obama added that Clinton was a "formidable candidate in 2008," an "outstanding Secretary of State," as well as a good friend. "The one thing I can say is that she's gonna [sic] be able to handle herself very well in any conversations or debates around foreign policy. And her track record with respect to domestic policies, I think, one that cares about working families. If she decides to run and she makes an announcement she is going to have some strong messages to deliver," Obama concluded. Republicans Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are the only politicians to officially announce that they will be running in the 2016 presidential election to date.
