European Commission head Jean-Claude Juncker said he felt “confident” that the Eurogroup will be able to finalise a program aimed at solving Greece’s debt crisis, speaking in Brussels, Monday. Speaking at a joint press conference with president of the European Council Donald Tusk, Juncker confirmed that Greece had submitted proposals, which met the expectations of it's lenders, the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Central Bank (ECB) for the first time. The proposals are being reviewed and the Eurogroup will meet again on Wednesday to then submit the results to the European Council on Thursday. Juncker also suggested that Greece should receive €35 billion ($39 billion) between now and 2020 to encourage growth and create jobs.
