Germany: Run to the … skies? Iron Maiden's Boeing 747 takes off from Berlin

British heavy metal band Iron Maiden took off from Berlin Shoenefeld Airport on Wednesday as they headed to Lucerne in Switzerland for their next concert.
The band has its own Boeing 747 called "Ed force One", named after its band mascot Eddie and nicknamed "666" after their songs.
At the moment, the band is on their 'The Book of Souls' world tour, using the Boeing to travel from concert to concert.
Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of the band, is also the pilot of the massive plane.
