Because they, being mothers as well, I don't know, it's like a competition, so they're being better mothers than I am because I bring my child to this field."

So we are like a family, so whenever I'm training, I can stop and do breastfeeding or somebody [who] has come can maybe help me out."

Just two months after giving birth to her second daughter, footballer Ruth Ruano is already back out on the training pitch in Son Ferrer, Mallorca, as shown in footage filmed on Wednesday evening.
However, she has found herself at the centre of controversy after receiving a barrage of criticism for breastfeeding two-month-old Julia during training sessions at her club, Sporting Son Ferrer.
Images of Ruano taking time out of practice to look after Julia in the dugout went viral.
Many online felt that breastfeeding was not something which should be done publicly, despite it being perfectly legal in Spain.
"Mostly men but also, there are females as well, that are [involved in the] controversy," Ruano explained. "Because they, being mothers as well, I don't know, it's like a competition, so they're being better mothers than I am because I bring my child to this field."
Despite the anger aimed at her, Ruano enjoys the support of her fellow players who are more than willing to aid her with juggling motherhood and football.
"They also help look after my baby. We're like a family," she said. "During training, we can stop so I can breastfeed, or someone can come and help me out."
