Nigel Farage, Leader of UKIP Party (in English): "Any man or woman standing for election on polling day tells you they’re not an eensy weensy bit nervous is either a liar or a fool." UKIP leader Nigel Farage was still canvassing in an attempt to win over last minute voters in Ramsgate on Thursday, where his party is hoping to win the seat from the Conservatives. Farage, who said he feels “confident but not complacent,” visited local enterprises and spoke to voters in the streets. UKIP have decreased in popularity according to latest figures, falling to 11 percent from the previous 13. The most recent ICM poll suggests Labour and the Conservatives are both tied on 35% of the popular vote, with bookies including Betfair predicting a hung parliament. The Liberal Democrats stand at 9 percent, a number unchanged from the last ICM poll. SNP are expected to win a majority of seats in Scotland. Some 50 million people have registered to vote, with 9,000 seats up for grabs in almost 280 local authorities.
