Apple Admits the iPod is Dead by Removing it From Its Top Menu

It's no secret that Apple's iPod business is not what it used to be, but the company has still held fast to the device, keeping it in the top menu along with the most important devices in its lineup.
This changed on Monday, the first day of Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference. The top menu on its website no longer lists the iPod; it has been replaced by "Music."
Of course, the iPod has not completely disappeared. You can still find it, but it will take one extra click: Go to the Store and then click "shop iPod."
