Governor of Florida Jeb Bush praised the possibility of a free trade agreement between the United States and the Eurozone, going as far as saying one day the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) will be the blueprint for trading standards across the world during a speech at the Wirtschaftstag 2015 (Economic Day) event in Berlin, Tuesday. "By harmonising our own standards, we will be leading the way for others," the presidential candidate added. He also put forward his belief that the TTIP will help keep "progress steady" and rules "transparent and fair," with regard to international markets. Bush also spoke about German Chancellor Angela Mekel's stance on Russian sanctions, NATO, Iran and Ukraine during his speech in Berlin.
