Сблъсъци между полиция и мигранти в Австрия

Hundreds of activists from Austria, Germany and Italy clashed with police at the Brenner Pass on the Austrian-Italian border on Sunday. Activists were protesting the Austrian government's decision to close its southern border with Italy and demanding that the country allows refugees to enter the country.
The Austrian police blocked 100 metres (328 feet) of road at the Italian border and, as a result, clashes erupted. The police used pepper spray against the activists, who responded by firing flares and throwing rocks.
In January, Austrian authorities introduced stricter border controls along some of their southern borders, after Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann announced that the Schengen agreement on open borders is "temporarily cancelled" in the country.
