Greece: 6.4 earthquake hits popular holiday island of Zakynthos

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck off the island of Zakynthos in the early hours of Friday, causing significant damage across the island. There have been no immediate reports of casualties.
The earthquake managed to create a long crack in the jetty of the port of Zakynthos. Dozens of houses were also damaged, while the entire island reportedly suffered a power outage lasting several hours.
Seismologists located the earthquake's epicentre as around 44 kilometres (27 miles) south-southwest of Zakynthos, in the Ionian Sea. It was reportedly also detected in neighbouring countries such as Albania, Turkey and Macedonia.
Reports claim there have been dozens of aftershocks since the main earthquake.
