King Richard III to Get Proper Burial 530 Years After His Death

King Richard the third will be laid to rest this Sunday — 530 years after he died. The last king of England from the House of York, who was killed at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485 as the War of the Roses reached its bloody climax, will be taken to Leicester Cathedral for a full burial. King Richard the third's remains, which are ensconced in a lead-lined coffin made of English oak by his descendent Michael Ibsen, will travel by hearse to the cathedral, making stops along the way at places that played a part in his life and death.
