The Hubble Space Telescope took a photo that shows a galaxy all alone at the edge of a cosmic void.
Most of the time, galaxies are surrounded by other galactic neighbors clustered together around the universe, but this galaxy, called NGC 6503, is all by itself. Hubble officials said NGC 6503 is at the edge of a part of space called the Local Void, a strange, 150 light-year across patch of the cosmos that looks empty of stars or galaxies.
