The residents of localities near the Finam airfield received an unusual message from pilots in the Moscow region on Thursday. The ‘First Flight’ aerobatic team skywrote the phrase "Take care of yourself, stay home!" in both Russian and English.
Footage taken from the cockpit shows the aircrafts' performance and the unit's leader monitoring synchronicity of the manoeuvres.
The pilots were urging citizens to be socially responsible and not to leave their homes if possible in order to prevent the further spread of coronavirus infection.
In Russia, as of March 26, the total number of COVID-19 cases is 840, with two people dead, according to official figures.
