Russia: Meet the new gang of penguins at Krasnoyarsk Zoo

Krasnoyarsk's Roev Ruchey Zoo showed off its latest addition for the first time on Monday: a group of African Penguins. The animals were rather shy to say the least and were not so keen to get into the brand new pool, which has been specifically designed for the penguins. However, after taking shelter in their artificial cave and with a little friendly encouragement from a zookeeper, one penguin called Chudi made his way to the pool. He was soon followed by the rest of the group, who happily splashed around as they frolicked in the water. According to workers at the zoo, the birds were very shy at first and alarmed by loud noises but have now settled in.
