Finance Minister of Greece Yanis Varoufakis said on Monday in Berlin that "it is time to stop pointing fingers at one another and that we do our job bring to fruition efforts of many months to come to an agreement," with regard to the ongoing negotiations of the Greek debt. Varoufakis recognised coordination failures of organisations such as the European Commission and pointed out the importance of regaining the trust of citizens in European institutions. He went on to say that "we have this great responsibility to overcome whatever differences and coordination failures we have been having in order to come to a deal that everyone expects us to come to." Varoufakis also met with representatives of main German political parties as well as his German counterpart Wolfgang Schaeuble on Monday.
