JetBlue Expands Luxury, 'Mint' Seat Offerings With More Cross-Country Flights

JetBlue is a low-cost airline, but that doesn't mean the company isn't interested in high-rolling travelers.
The carrier announced on Wednesday additional flights from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport to Los Angeles and San Francisco will come withits premium package Mint.
Beginning October 25, those flights will come with the premiere seating accommodations starting at $599. In comparison a seat in coach for flights from JFK to Los Angeles International Airport and San Francisco International Airport start at $199.
The airline introduced Mint in June 2014. It advertises "private suites, the widest seat and longest fully-flat bed in the U.S. domestic market. In addition, Mint has tapas-style dining, custom amenity kits, a 15-inch flat screen and more.
